FISH UNTIL YOU FREEZE

Every year, autumn is "harvesting" season here in the North. This means spending most weekends from September until the end of November hunting in the Yukon and fishing in Alaska. It's an amazing time of the year to spend outside, away from the crowds, and create great memories with friends. This year's last fishing mission was a good one. I was initiating my two friends, Louis and Guillaume, into fly-fishing. The conditions were tough; -5'C, constant frozen rods and reels, but the coho salmon were still running strong in the Chilkoot River and they weren't shy. Bald eagles were flying all around us and the peacefulness of the place was incredible. With no one else in the water all weekend, no wind and only one small tourist van that came by, it was a perfect combination for a perfect weekend.
