About Us

Blazing our own trail, swimming against the current, paddling into the unknown, that's exactly what motivates us. When the waters part, we choose the path less traveled.

Our Vision

More than a manufacturer, a community of enthusiasts.

Nature urges us to carry on, it thrills us and gives us goosebumps. The unique moments that amaze us, surprise us, throw us off balance, that's what keeps us alive. And we want to share that powerful connection. We want to send everyone out onto the rivers, lakes, and oceans. We want to instill a taste for adventure and make our waterways accessible to all: city dwellers and country folk alike. We want you to fall in love with our waterways and work hard to protect them. We want to share both intensity and tranquility, the adrenaline rush and the feeling of accomplishment after a day in the woods, paddling down a river, when you don't know what awaits you around the next bend.

More than a manufacturer, a community of enthusiasts.
Our Mission

Let's be realistic, every boat we make leaves a footprint. We would love to change that, but to have no impact on the planet, we would have to produce nothing at all. We want to get everyone out on the water, but we also want to protect and restore the natural environments we love.

We do our best to minimize our environmental impact through sustainable business practices. That's why we manufacture all our boats locally with durable materials.

Social Responsibility

Our 8 Community and Business Commitments

Let's be realistic, every boat we build leaves a footprint. We do our best to minimize our environmental impact through sustainable business practices and concrete initiatives.

Made in Canada

Made in Canada

Proudly local! Not only do we manufacture our boats in northern Quebec, but we also work exclusively with Canadian suppliers. It's sometimes more expensive, but we believe that minimizing our environmental impact while offering high-quality products is more important than maximizing profits. We care about the local economy and lasting relationships. With strict standards when it comes to quality, we choose to work with suppliers who share our values. We also constantly seek out products that are better for the environment.

Boats available for employees

Boats available for employees

We work with incredible people who love nature as much as we do. We believe it is important to allow them to go play outside as often as possible. All employees have access to our boats and whenever they feel like it, they can head out with friends or family.

Repair the boats

Repair the boats

We encourage anyone looking for a new canoe to restore one before buying new. We are not here to sell more boats. What we want is for people to get out and explore the wilderness. We intend to use our business as a force for positive impact, both in our community and on the planet.

Cleaning up nature

Cleaning up nature

We want to preserve, restore, and clean up our natural spaces so that everyone can enjoy this great playground. That's why we've partnered with the CREAT through the Wild Waste Hunt competition, an initiative aimed at raising public awareness of the harmful effects of waste and illegal dumping on nature and biodiversity.

Bring people into nature

Bring people into nature

Adventure in the great outdoors is a blend of physical challenge and cultural experience. It's about exploring our territory in an authentic and respectful way. It's about creating lasting memories. For these reasons, Exode offers expeditions their guides would choose for themselves on their days off.

Give a second life

Give a second life

We collect windshield washer fluid jugs to give them a second life. With a snip of the scissors, these plastic containers that clutter gas station trash cans are transformed into practical reusable containers.

Reclaimed / restored furniture

Reclaimed / restored furniture

We chose to furnish our premises with used furniture and reclaimed wood. Working in this environment reminds us of our mission every day.
