MAGTOGOEK design
In the past, the St. Lawrence River was called MAGTOGOEK, or “the way that walks”, by the Amerindian peoples. It can be counted as one of the greatest rivers in the world and now it is the ninth most threatened river in America. It is characterized by being a long stream that crosses both sides of Quebec and naturally separates Canada from the United States. -

KINOJEVIS design
For thousands of years, the KINOJEVIS River, crossing Abitibi-Témiscamingue, served as a communication route for the Algonquins who traveled between the basins of the Harricana and Outaouais rivers. Kinojévis is said to be a distortion of the Algonquin word 'kenogewich' meaning 'bad pike'. It is found in the waters of the river and is said to have a reputation for having very bad taste. -
TEMISKAMING design
This immense Canadian lake is a natural border, on one side of Ontario and on the other side of Quebec. Its name derives from the Algonquin Timiskaming, which means "to the deep lake". -
NOTTAWAY design
The NOTTAWAY river meanders Northern Québec and was once an official route for the fur trade. Of course, it is not used for the commerce anymore but it is an amazing place to paddle. -
Design OPASATICA (Par / By Florence Rivest)
