The Currituck is a performance kayak that is easy to paddle. With excellent cockpit design and a 21.5-inch beam, the Currituck is a stable boat that is maneuverable in bigger conditions, or tight creaks and moving water. The 17-foot length, combined with a flatter rocker gives this kayak great hull speed for faster paddles on flat water or long crossings in open seas and variable weather. The spacious 9870 cubic inches of storage allows for easy overnights or longer excursions. The shallow V hull medium chine provides excellent secondary stability.
The Currituck has a flatter rocker, which gives it better hull speed and tracking for touring. The rocker is enough to turn with a paddle stroke on a lazy paddle, but get this boat on edge and it has the maneuverability to explore the tightest spots in the local creek or race confidently down the biggest wave face.
