CANOE | Oar Lock

Whether for gliding across a calm lake or rowing against a current, the oarlock is the essential accessory to transform your boat into a proper rowing setup.

Made of robust stainless steel, it installs easily on our fishing boats and our Y-Stern, Freighter, and Duckboat series.

How does it work? The oarlock acts as a fixed pivot point on the gunwale of the boat. The oar is inserted and pivots freely, allowing the rower to propel the boat with a balanced and controlled two-arm motion. Unlike a single paddle, rowing with oarlocks delivers much more powerful propulsion over long distances, ideal for fishing trips, transporting loads, or navigating calm waters. It also reduces fatigue by distributing the effort across both arms.
