Prospector 16'
The Prospector 16' is abitibi&co's flagship expedition canoe. Its classic design performs equally well on long open lakes as it does on rivers, stable, precise, and maneuverable even when loaded for several days in the wilderness.
Available in fiberglass at 62 lbs or Kevlar at 57 lbs, it is designed for those who portage their canoe as much as they paddle it. Contoured suspended ash seats, a deep ash portage yoke, and bow guards on each end are included as standard, because for us, these are the details that make all the difference on the water and on the portage.
